An automated workflow for updating Varennes Buildings GIS Data
This underdevelopment project aims to automate a workflow for updating GIS data of buildings around Varennes Public Library. A boundary has been made in QGIS which covers around 5200 buldings around the library. This boundary, a SHP file, is being used to clip all the input data sets such as the Geoindex. At this point, the Geoindex dataset has been fixed before clipping.
The workflow utilizes another project that handles the Montreal buildings dataset. The methods from the developed class work well for the project, making it easy to write the workflow for this new project.
